About Case Converter — Title Case & More

Change the capitalization of any text in one click: UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case, Sentence case, or programmer formats like camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case, CONSTANT_CASE, and dot.case. Your original text stays in the left pane, so you can try every format and copy only the one you want.

How each case works

Title Case capitalizes the first letter of each word and keeps short words such as a, the, and, of, in, and with lowercase unless they open the line. Sentence case lowercases everything, then capitalizes the first letter of each sentence after a period, question mark, or exclamation mark.

The programmer cases turn a phrase into an identifier. "user account id" becomes userAccountId in camelCase, UserAccountId in PascalCase, user_account_id in snake_case, user-account-id in kebab-case, and USER_ACCOUNT_ID in CONSTANT_CASE.

Things to check before you paste

Title Case and Sentence case lowercase the rest of each word, so acronyms and names lose their capitals: NASA becomes Nasa, and iPhone becomes Iphone. Fix those by hand after converting, or convert only the part of the text that needs it.

Style guides disagree on which small words stay lowercase in headlines. This tool follows a common middle ground. If your publication follows AP or Chicago strictly, give the result a quick read before publishing.

Questions about Case Converter

What is the difference between title case and sentence case?
Title case capitalizes the first letter of each major word. Sentence case capitalizes only the first letter of each sentence.
Does this handle programming identifiers?
Yes. The tool converts text into camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, and kebab-case formats.
Why did my acronym lose its capitals?
Title Case and Sentence case lowercase each word before capitalizing the first letter, so NASA becomes Nasa. Retype acronyms and brand names after converting.
Does it change my original text?
No. Your text stays in the left pane and the converted version appears on the right. Use "Use as input" only if you want to apply another conversion on top.
Can I convert a whole list at once?
Yes. Paste as many lines as you like. Each line keeps its line break, and the chosen case applies to all of them.
