Instagram post links (instagram.com/p/…) won't work. Instagram blocks other sites from reading posts. Use the image's own address or a saved file.

How to use Instagram Photo Helper

  1. Paste a direct image link, or upload an image from your device.
  2. Check its dimensions, aspect ratio, and file size.
  3. Download it, or open it full size if the host blocks direct downloads.

Instagram image sizes

Instagram feed posts can be square (1:1, 1080 × 1080), portrait (4:5, 1080 × 1350), or landscape (1.91:1, 1080 × 566). Stories and Reels use 9:16 (1080 × 1920). Images in other shapes are cropped, so check the ratio before uploading.

If your image does not match, use the Crop & Rotate tool to crop it to the right shape.

Links vs. uploads

Uploaded images are read on your device and can always be downloaded again. For links, the image is loaded directly from the site that hosts it. Some sites block other websites from reading their files; in that case you can still view the image and open it full size to save it.

Links to Instagram post pages (instagram.com/p/...) are not images, and Instagram does not let other sites read posts, so they cannot be loaded here.
